1. CVS is currently displaying Halloween items... and also Christmas ornaments. What is happening why is happening2. However, they also have at least three cards specifically for same-sex weddings, which is new since I last looked. So that made me happy. Maybe they finally figured out they needed them when gay marriage became Officially Legal

2b. Are there languages in which "I" is gendered? Interesting question. I'm glad I don't have to buy cards in one.
Are you kidding me? You're actually trying/wishing to erase gender even in the personal pronoun, "I"?!
Unfathomable. Know that no matter what laws you invent, no matter what games you play with language, no matter how much you bully all of society 24/l7, you WILL NOT ever erase gender. It's not a "social construct". It's REALITY.
Know that. And know that I will not submit to this bullying.

"I" is not a gendered pronoun. "He" and "she" are gendered pronouns. But both men and women use "I" to describe themselves. I can't erase gender from "I" because it has no gender. That is why I can buy a card that says "I love my wife" without worrying about whether it was made for men or women.
