Sewing Machine!!!!

Finally I have in my possession my Grandmother's Singer sewing machine.  I have been trying to get this thing forever!  It is so pretty and maybe, just maybe I will now learn to sew.

My mother just got it back from the shop where it was cleaned and fixed up. It has all the original items that came with it, including the owners manual. Also included are two very cool packets of buttons that my grandmother saved.

I have awesome memories of my grandmother sitting at the machine and fixing the ribbon trim on my blankie when I was very little.

Hey! My grandmother's sewing machine looks a lot like that. Not quite the same model, but totally the same era. I still use it. It sews fantastic. I sewed a pavilion together with it once. It has an industrial motor. Will last forever!

I also sewed over my finger with it once, but that's a different story.
