Technical Question: A rare LJ post

Dec 03, 2012 11:38

I'm working on a rather longish blog post (dreamcafe.com/words). I'm using WordPress. I'd like to throw in a cut tag for the benefit of those on LJ who don't feel like reading the whole thing. Can someone tell me how to do that on WordPress?

It might take a wordpress extension to do that: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/hide-or-cut-post-text/

On my WP instance that's the "More" button.

I assume the angle-brackets are part of the code?

My brain being what it is, I am now envisioning the kinds of horrors to be found within a Brust blog entry.

Much of what I'm coming up with is Rule 34 of Dragaeran characters. (Of course, Devera is in all of it...)

Well, if LiveJournal will ever let me sign in, I'll post the graphic that shows you the button in WordPress that inserts the "More" button into your post.
