HAHAHAHA omg, I can't decide what is better about the Austen AU, Izumi and Sig or RIZA'S HILARIOUS POLITELY BEMUSED FACE.

Gangster moll Gracia is pretty excellent too. *__*

I LITERALLY JUST PHOTOSHOPPED THEIR FACES FROM THE FIRST MOMENT THEY SEE EACH OTHER, the only difference is this time they're not holding a giant bear. (i love them.) and lmfao, her face totally worked out. I DEBATED IT BEING OLIVIER AT FIRST, but i don't think she'd have the patience for their ridiculousness.

i actually kind of want to write this one *_* because somehow, i think hughes and gracia would fit in really well to this lifestyle ...they'd obviously be a little harsher around the edges than we've seen, but hughes already shows that he can be intense when he needs to be, and i think they have that whole i'll-follow-you-whereever-you-go-sweetheart thing that would keep them together no matter what they end up having to do o:

AND I KIND OF THINK THAT MUSTANG AND HAWKEYE SMOKING WOULD BE PRETTY.

Olivier does not have the patience for an Austen novel, period! It'd be ten minutes of playing the social game before she stabbed someone in the heart.

I think you should! :D I would be intrigued to read it. (Also, I'm currently restraining all kinds of puns about Mustang and fire and smoke.)

i was thinking about this -- i was like, what would she do all the time? they spend so much time sitting around and reading/knitting/being proper. if she had been born in that era she'd probably dress up aides a boy and join the military xD

i'm considering it! o: i haven't been writing much for a bit -- i used to write a pretty consistently for some of the old fandoms i was in, but recently i feel very, hm, rusty. BUT I REALLY WANT TO GET BACK INTO IT.

AWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME. *dying of giggles*

I love the ridiculous photoshopping, too. BEST ALL AROUND.

(I am highly in favor of Star Trek AUs for everything. Even if they fall down in practice, they are hilarious to discuss!)

SERIOUSLY I WAS CRACKING UP ALL THROUGH THE PHOTOSHOPPING. (especially the austen one.) ...and now want to do more.

(omg, hardly anyone on my f-list actually knows star trek -- or atleast more star trek than the '09 reboot movie! /EXCITEDLY POINTS TO YOUR ICON IN HAPPINESS. and they are so much fun to discuss! ...i think star trek in general gives such a sense of possibilities and imagination, that it just lends itself so well to wanting to add new things/characters/situations to the setting xD)

(*glees right back!* I love the reboot movie, but TOS owns my heart; the reboot is a shiny fun AU, but that's never my mental Kirk and Spock and Uhura and everyone. (Especially Spock. I'm sorry, Zachary Quinto; you are awesome and you did a fantastic job, but you're not Leonard Nimoy and you're not my Spock, and that's all there is to it.) I haven't seen all of it by any means, although I keep occasionally trying to catch up when I'm bored and feel like watching something. And yes! There are possibilities and imagination and epic scope; there's also 1960s SCI FI CHEESE, and both of these things are fun to exploit.

NextGen I grew up on but haven't really watched since, and all the other series I've only seen scattered bits of. So I have a lot of fannish-osmosis knowledge, but TOS is the one I've actually seen the most of in recent memory.)

(i noticed this, with zachary quinto. i really like the spock he does -- and i actually can kind of picture spock like that, when he's young and protective and secretly vulnerable, fresh from all the mocking he got as a child and not yet comfortably settled into life on the enterprise -- and i'm sure kirk had a lot to do with him loosening up, which obviously hasn't happened yet in the reboot. i find the divergences of it from the alternative storyline really fascinating, like how kirk still has a troubled past -- but much more in a personal recklessness than in the horror of witnessing systematic murder of many, and how it does seem to change little aspects of his personality. o: and they are, again, so young still! ---BUT ANYWAY THE POINT IS THAT ZACHARY QUINTO WAS ACTUALLY A LOT LESS EXPRESSIVE in his face than nimoy was, and that made his spock come across differently o ( ... )
