Bess, thank you so much! Skyler and Da Beau also say thank you. The Pirate puppet you sent came yesterday, and I saved it until tonight at dinner, so that Skye and James could do the opening. He was an instant hit, and apparently likes Cuban food.

For-Ever!
Apparently, Skye is going to be pregnant forEVER! Or at least that's what he says. And as for the lying lier doctor who told us that the baby would be born no latter than last Sunday, he now says that Skyler is as dialated and as effaced as a person can humanly be and not be actually IN labor...so again, any moment.

Showers and Such
last night was Skyler's baby shower. He also had a Dr's exam earlier in the day ( Read more... ) -
Bizzare!
I dreamed that Skye the 7 year old and I were walking in the woods. We found a little black baby goblin boy and he was lost and frightened, so we were rescuing him, when we were kidnapped by a traveling pimp and his band of ho's. Mr Pimp was determined to make either me or Skye a ho...so I cut his throat. The baby goblin took over the girls. " ( Read more... ) -
Hospitals and Such
Skyler went in today and gave notice that he's going on maternity leave. Better than having the baby in the kitchen ( Read more... ) -
Eeks!
Every time Skyler sees a Dr, he is given a closer due date. We went yesterday for his actual first pre-natal exam and was told 3 centimeters dilated, 65% effaced, and no more than 3 weeks before the baby is here. So at most, Skyler and Da Beau will have had 5 weeks of advance warning, and we mere grandparents, 4 weeks.
