I've been really wanting to apply to grad school, but have also been really wanting to move to Alaska, maybe just for a while so I could be with my honey bunny. Yeah, Alaska is kind of whoa. But I like it and I've not been looking forward to moving back to NY anyway.

Isn't Washington supposed to be really rainy and depressing? Jerry W's from Vancouver, maybe you could ask him about it.

I've heard that it is really rainy and depressing, but I've also heard it is really beautiful. I'll see when I visit at some point. Also, I won't necessarily be stuck there the whole time if I do go to grad school. I'll be studying Italian, so I'm sure I'll have lots of opportunities for long term travel:-)

Also, when I was in high school, I had dreams about Walla Walla Washington, before I even knew the place existed. It was a set of recurring dreams, so one night I went to sleep with the resolution that I would pay attention to my surroundings so I could have some idea of where I was. Then I heard something about Walla Walla. When I woke, I looked it up in the dictionary and found that it was a river in Washington. Then today in my film class Walla Walla came up at random. Apparently Italian immigrants grow onions there. You see, it's Fate! But I think if I go to Walla Walla I might drown during the flood season. That is what happened to the person in my dream, who I think was one of my past life people.

And please don't take this as a definitive statement that we've kissed. Because it's not. Or something.

Awesome, that sounds really great! Washington is such a great place to be. It's beautiful. If you go there you have to be sure to visit Olympia National Park, it's fantastic.
