The HBO Pilot of A Game Of Thrones is now at the decision point for greenlighting the Series. This should be an awesome series to see on HBO. Having an entire season per book is about the only way to do justice to this fantasy series on the Screen.

I went to the Moore Theatre in Seattle to see Jonathan Coulton tonight. Every time I've seen JoCo, Paul and Storm have been the opening band. This is usually fine.

There is a conference on Space Elevators happening later this week at Microsoft's Conference Center. If I had the time and money, it would be fun to go to the whole thing.

However, there is a free presentation tomorrow evening 7:00pm to 8:30pm and a more detailed presentation on Saturday that costs $40 for up to 4 people.

Saturday I was able to (cheaply) upgrade my front sprockets from 42/32/22 to 52/42/32 teeth. This makes me very happy. It means that I can actually pedal at a reasonable speed along with the motor. Thus I can get more exercise since I'll have resistance to my pedalling ( Read more... )
