So, Magus has been in Montreal since Thursday for an extended Bachelor Party, which means I have the place all to myself! (Near as I can tell, they are all having a great time up there :-D) This all means time spent with my Mom ( Read more... )

I, too, am having the house to myself this evening! :o) It's so nice! But I miss Paul...he's at a wedding and I'm all sniffly and achy. :p

Sounds like you had a blast with your mom! And I'm glad she is adjusting (to what sounds like a change)! We all need mom/daughter time!

Yeah, I miss the hubby, but its nice and quiet too, which is of the good :-)

And I did have a great time with her today! She's been on her own (mostly - I lived with her for a few months) since my Dad died, but she was never really comfortable with it, before. Beyond just my Dad not being there, she had never lived on her own, and it was frightening for her. Now though, she seems to be really quite content, and feels more secure. Which is cause for rejoicing in my mind!!

Oooh, it's always lovely when you get the house to yourself for a little while. And it's really good that your mum is settling into being at home by herself, the alternative is so terrible. :(

and yeah, I'm glad that my Mom has adjusted so well. Its been a work in progress, but its turning up alright!

My poor feet really, really have every reason to hate me. But, they gave me bunions when I was barely 22, so I figure its a trade off!

Also, I LOVE your icon :-D
