Okay, I managed to both get an apartment and cleaned up. Now I just need to find a job so I can keep said apartment.

Still not entirely sure how I got here or why, but it's a second chance, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much about it even if I am away from all of themRight, first thing--I should find out more about this place. Anybody care

Oh hey, someone new! Uh...well the island's ruled by mermaids and you can get items from the fountain in the town square if you throw money in it. Oh, and...apparently people can't die here. Or something. Not quite sure on that point..

Stay away from the water, and do not eat Yuiko-chan's cookies. They are delicious but have some...unsettling side effects.

Hm... Not sure about that. I was doing the same thing for so long before, I never really thought about doing anything else.
