Okay, I managed to both get an apartment and cleaned up. Now I just need to find a job so I can keep said apartment.

Still not entirely sure how I got here or why, but it's a second chance, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much about it even if I am away from all of themRight, first thing--I should find out more about this place. Anybody care ( Read more... )

Perhaps I can assist you with two important points:

Stay away from the water, and do not eat Yuiko-chan's cookies. They are delicious but have some...unsettling side effects.

I am Kazutaka Muraki, and though I have only been here for little over a month, I have been witness to some strange circumstances.

Oh, and there are plenty of places to gain employment. What do you want to do?

Okay, got it, thanks. ...Side effects?

Zack Fair. And yeah, Ginji said people can't die here, so I'd imagine all sorts of other weird stuff would happen.

Hm... Not sure about that. I was doing the same thing for so long before, I never really thought about doing anything else.

Yes, the side effects are best explained as uncontrollable ardour directed towards unsuspecting targets.

Nice to meet you, Fair-san. I think that if you were to look, you could make yourself a fine living here. We have everything you could possibly want. Or if not, wait a while, and it usually turns up...

Ah, have you been to the onsen?

Yeesh. Doubly noted, then.

Nice to meet you, too. And I'll keep that in mind.

Onsen? Never heard of one before.

Never heard...?

Well, an Onsen is basically a resort. A hotel built around hot springs where you can go to rest and relax. It is very nice. I was there recently. Though you may want a job first, as it costs kale to stay there.

Ah, okay. There's nothing like that back home, far as I know. There's Costa del Sol, but that's just a tropical resort town with a tendency for random problems when I try to take some time off.

It sounds really nice, though! I'll have to check it out.

((Haha. What typo? |D))
