The gray zone is very well depicted in this drama. It's interesting that a drama with these characteristics (fantasy everywhere) deals with very realistic issues. I loved that part ^^

It's already finished and I haven't even watched chapter 8 yet!!! D: I saw you already posted the discussion post for that one... Dang, I'm so tempted to read your review and get spoilers xDDDDDD I'll watch the episode today!!! (I just downloaded it :P)

I thought this episode was slightly depressing but realistic and really though provoking... why do people who want to live die and why do people who want to die live?
It was sad that Shinigami-kun couldn't prevent the death and for some reason I always thought that last minute Akuma would say something like "that wish was invalid because (insert reason) but no... she actually died which was such a shock for me cos none of the other characters have.

Too bad its nearly ending soon!!! Staying in tine for the next one :):)

Yes, I agree with you, this episode was depressing but realistic in a lot of ways. The emotions of the shown people were really real, even if it's sad but jealousy and that pressure to live up to your own imaginations are pretty common and pretty tough, right?

I felt sorry for Shinigami-kun, he tried so hard to help Yukari but yeah, unfortunately it didn't work =( I was wondering if Akuma would come with an excuse as well but I guess it would have been too good to be true and maybe it wouldn't have fit the plot anyways. It's sad though =(

The Tetsuko-san scene was hilarious! I feel like she made a small appearance in Uta no Onii-san awhile ago too.

I definitely noticed the cinematography in this one, because everything was very dark and shadowy the whole time. Although I could sympathize with Yukari, I wanted her to push through and find a new inspiration after all her struggles >__< At the end I also noticed how that schoolgirl picked up her CD, probably showing that her inspiration of hope lived on which was nice.

Shini's face when he's trying to pull Yukari back up :( Difficult to watch.

This was the first time that Akuma really did seem like a demon. Before he just kind of manipulated here and there but this time he was actually ready to kill someone.

I hope Shini and Crowgirl make it!

Yes, I agree, Tetsuko-san was so gorgeous, right? ^^

That's right, this episode was kinda gloomy and they worked a lot with darkness, shadows, night and stuff. I really liked that. I agree about Yukari... she could have found a new strength, right? But I guess she was just too depressed. I loved that scene with the girl that picked up the CD as well. I felt like she kind of "saved" someone with that maybe - which leads us again to the question can someone change fate?

Thanks, finally I'm catching up XD Now there are only the two last episodes left - for Shinigami-kun as well as Yowakutemo Katemasu. Argh somehow I'm looking so forward to the last episodes but on the other hand I'm sad, I don't want these doramas to end ( ... )
