I'm so sorry for being so behind on everything! RL caught up again and I didn't watch any dorama since... almost two weeks I guess? o_O Unbeliebable... no wonder that I'm already suffering from withdrawal symptoms xD
(
Episode description and more under the cut... (SPOILERS of the 7th episode INCLUDED!) )
I totally agree with you, they did a really good job with talking about the suicide topic and stuff. I liked how they dealt with it because it's really a serious topic. I think it's really omplex and I think that people might really have their reasons for wanting to die... some might be stupid reasons, some might be heavy reasons. Anyways, I think each person has its own strength and when this strength is too less for a situation to cope with, I can understand that some think of death as a way to escape and then you can only hope that this person will find more strength in living and will not decide to die. Because even if I don't want other people to kill themselves, in the end each person is responsible for oneselves life, right?
It's true that the situation this time wasn't that complicated but it was really realistic. Jealousy, blaming other people for your failure, hating yourself for your failure, I think these are emotions that everyone can relate to to some point. I also agree with you about the black magic - stuff. Or course it's unfair and nobody should rely on something like that! It's better to fight with oneselve's strength!
Yes, Ami must have it hard as well =( It's not easy in this business and she was all alone... like it got pointed out, she was lonely. I think she really wanted to be friends with Yukari but then the rivalry was too big and when they finally became close, it was too late... it's a pity.
Yes, watching this dorama I often wonder about if it's good or not to just do your job as you're supposed to do it. Often there are moral conflicts and there are only a few people who stand up to something like that.
Yeah, the famous gray zone D= I agree with you! I thin, moral topics always go into that zone. Sometimes people tend to a "yes" or "no" answer but most of the time it's not that simple. I myself am a person who always tries to understand each side of a topic and most of the time I can sympazise with both sides, even if I tend to one or the other... it's complicated often.
I think, this dorama really shows this "gray zone" pretty well. Most of the characters are "grey", the regulars as well as the people featured in each episode and the dorama itself is also not only black or white, for example it's not only sad but also funny. I think the whole dorama is a huge quotation of the "grey zone" so to say. I really like that. It's realistic, even if the dorama itself has fantasy-elements and stuff.
