I always feel sorry for those poor people in that first postcard. No mail! *sniffle* :(

I'm very glad to see that your new library card is finally giving you internet access!

I'm so proud of you for no meat eating for two whole years!!

Two years eh? That's impressive man, I salute you.

I can honestly say it would be one of the most difficult things I could conceive of doing. But it is rather indicative of your devotion to your lovely lady. And that is a groovy, groovy thing.

And I understand your fondness for the hippy hair. Alas, some climates just do not accommodate luscious locks very well.

Honestly, it took quite a few years for me to conceive it myself. And if anyone had told me, "You must stop eating meat!" I woulda bit off a piece of whatever flesh they happened to be showing at the time, just to show 'em. I'm a bit of a contrary bastard that way. XD

I would think the long hair would be tough in your part of the country. We only pretend it's hot. You guys live in the real thing.

Still, long hair and not having to wear a uniform anymore . . . such are my humble dreams.

When I was first in England I used the local libraries for the same purpose. My room didn't even have a window that shut, much less air conditioning.

Congratulations on your meat-free life!

Thanks man! Maybe it's having read too many Wodehouse stories, but British libraries seem like they'd be a lot more classic (like leather chairs, those green lamps at the tables, librarians that actually shush people, and the odd flying butress).
