I was behind the curve on this story, but I'd heard today that Palin not only made an appearance on the Tonight Show, but that she did a stand-up set.  Would this have happened under Conan?  I think not.

I never shoot the messenger, but simply pay him for the pizza, tip reasonably and tell him to bugger off my doormat.

GOP may well take back House and Senate in 2010, but they're just as likely to get the vote split by Tea Party spoilers, so I ain't gonna bet money either way.

As for Palin as Prez, she and the producer of Survivor are shopping around an Alaska based reality show starring Sarah herself. If it turns into a Wasilla version of John and Kate Plus Eight, I'd say she has a lock on the White House.

I've been watching a lot of SNl from the 70's, Reagan was just as big a joke circa 1976...come 1980 he's prez...Palin is angling for elected office again, hopefully some scandal will get rid of her, but for the time being I would say she's got a good shot at being prez after Obama leaves...
