I'm going to have to go reread the Johnson-Singer one now, which btw, is one of my favorites ever.

I really loved this, especially on the second read through. Mike and Kevin both make such good cats and the ending made me grin with the cat-like tendencies that seemed to hang around.

That said, even aside from the turtle, this is delightful! I have no clue what the life of a cat is like, but I'm pretty sure that you hit the nail on the head with this. It rings very true to that lazy, unconcerned attitude cats sometimes have! :D :D :D

(And OF COURSE TAI would accept a random cat in their midst. :D Of course!)

I love the whole story, but I think my favourite part is the way you wrote 'Kevin gets a divorce, and turns into a cat' in the summary and then felt the need to add 'AU'.
