No giant essay this time, just a few notes about things I've enjoyed in the last week.

Two of my Viable Paradise classmates have stories up online right at the moment. theferrett brings us a tale of sheer cosmic evil, with appropriately resonant laughter. "Home Despot" is very silly, and sometimes silliness is exactly what hits the spot.
