Saturday off

Finished my regular work Friday, for a change, so decided not to work overtime today for the first time in a couple of months. This largely has to do with the news that if one comes in on the weekend, one has to do the despised side project rather than one's own backlogged non-urgent projects

That is a great cartoon! The girls like it and the puns are so painful they're good. Good luck with the volunteer event. I suppose it's not actually volunteering without the volitional piece, but volunteer events are a nice way to socialize compared to formal parties.
