I've been getting acquainted with my new iPod and things are going well, musically speaking. Because I lost all my song ratings when my hard drive crashed, I have been spending a lot of time sifting through the music to find the good stuff. Every day I take a playlist of eight hours of unrated music to work with me. I've found some good stuff ( Read more... )

Shit, I could have told you about Moxy Fruvous. They're my favourite band in the entire world. Fucking amazing live. Plus Jian and Murray are hot. Unfortunately, they went 'on hiatus' a few years ago (I went to their last concert in Oberlin, Ohio! *sniff*) and there is no sign of them getting back together again. :(

I have had and liked two of their MP3s (King of Spain and Fly) for about four years now; I just never investigated further.

oooh, I thought up another ipod question for you last night (since you are the fount of all pod knowledge).

Can it get radio too? not downloads but actual radio as it's played.

I think there's a way to do that, but I've never tried since I am not much of a radio listener. I know iTunes gets hundreds of radio stations from all over the world if you have a good connection speed.

hhmm, it's just that I know there are mp3 players out there that are also fm radios.
