I am having some trouble with my Apple PowerBook G4 which I bought new in 2003, and which is running OS 10.4.11. It's a touch slow these days, but it still works well enough for most things. So I was writing up some HTML for a glossary of Anglo-Saxon words, which included coding for a number of special characters (ð, æ, etc...), and the first time I uploaded it, it looked just fine. ARGH!!! I have *two* scanners and I cannot make either of them work! I have a CanoScan FB 630Ui and a CanoScan LiDE 30.
