Okay, I've watching Series 1 and 2 again and I have a question. The taxi driver from Cassie's episode in Series 1, and Adam from her episode in Series 2 were they both figments of her imagination?
they were very real.. why would her subconscious leave her a note in the end telling her to get out? and also, i think it was her imagination telling her to eat for sure, because she got a ton of text messages saying to eat.. but when she tried to access them later they weren't there.. and i doubt she would have deleted them.
Good question...don't believe anyone who says 'they were, period' b/c, well, we just don't know. Ever since I saw the ep I had the feeling Alan wasn't real. As for Adam, I dunno. Then there's also, what was her name, Beth? from Tony's ep, who I think pretty much everyone realizes wasn't real...once they put her in, I think all bets were off as to any character being real, if only one of our main characters ever acknowledged them.
What I want to know is, does this mean Tony was the one flirting outrageously with the druggie tattooist guy?
But yes, I personally hope the taxi driver wasn't real, otherwise he was creepy as fuck. And Adam... I'm not sure, that felt more like a meeting of broken people to me.
haha i suppose it's possible...he was the one who wound up with the tattoo, after all
i didn't think the taxi driver was creepy at all! if anything, i thought he was possibly the most genuinely nice people they portrayed - which only adds to the idea that he wasn't real, for me
That's how it seemed to me. I also noted the scary teacher man called him pansexual, I think. But I still really haven't figured out that episode in my head, expect for Tony's female persona being so, so much hotter than him.
I don't know, I think if I was 16 and my taxi driver was telling me he loved me, my mum would have called the police.
Though with Cassie I also think it's perfectly possible that both Alan and Adam were real people who she projected imaginary sentiments onto, if that makes sense. Much as she did with (real) Sid and his (imaginary) desire for her to eat. She's desperate enough for people to care that she makes up evidence that they do.
