Summary: Emily finds herself on the streets with little more than the clothes on her back. When a kind stranger picks her up and takes her home she discovers that home isn't necessarily the place where your relatives live.

Reason for rec: It's a bit of a cop out, I guess, me reccing a miss_peg fic, but honestly, she supplies me with pretty much all of my Skins fic needs. (Though, I'm hoping to use FRF as a way of broadening my horizons). The opening of this story is so resonant and brings Emily's new predicament to light. You can tell just how much thought has gone into this story and the construction of it, which is why I'm reccing it and why I'm waiting with bated breath for an update.
