My teeth suck.

Holy fucking fuck. Wisdom teeth need to come out right the fuck now. Apparently the top ones have been through for a while, with no trouble at all. (So little trouble, in fact, that I didn't even notice I had them and was worried there wouldn't be enough room in my mouth when they eventually did emerge.) But the problem is that, of my two ( Read more... )

YAY EMAIL TO ME \o/ And yeah, totally agree on the tooth pain. I've been fairly lucky in my life in that I've never before experienced pain I couldn't sleep through. Until now.

can't sleep. that sounds so horrible. i'd say drink the pain away, but that's not really a good solution, either. SENDING YOU LOTS OF NO-TOOTH-PAIN VIBES.

For what it's worth, I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out under local anesthesia and it was no problem, either for me or the oral surgeon.

Mouth pain is teh suck. I'm sorry it's got you hating life right now. :(

Yeah, the oral surgeon made me watch a video that detailed all the different ways the teeth can be removed and under what circumstances each method would be used. And with the tooth I want removed, the video made it fairly clear that a local anaesthetic should be more than enough to yank it.

My wisdom teeth were removed when I had my jaw surgery SO I CAN'T OFFER YOU ANY COMFORT LMFAO. other than. you know. yours won't be as painful!

if it makes you feel better, it's pretty common for people to need them removed anyway? 8(

I can deal with some pain in order to chew things properly again hahahaha

:( And I know it's common, but it really irks me to have to have teeth pulled when they didn't come in sideways or something. And it irks me even more that the oral surgeon wouldn't make an appointment until he heard from my insurance. My mouth is sore NOW damnit.

I can completely sympathize. I had a similar situation, except none of my wisdom teeth had come through, just my molars except for the one on the bottom left. When the wisdom teeth decided they wanted to join in, the one on the bottom left tried to go over the molar, and the upper left molar did the exact same grow-down-further-to-meet-lower-jaw thing. The way the teeth lined up, I started chewing a hole in my cheek. Pain does not begin to describe what that was.

I hope things work out all good and quickly. Wisdom tooth pain is some of the worst. :(
