I loved this when I read it on the kink meme, and I love it here. The entire idea that Jim would try to fit into what Spock would want, but of course totally getting it wrong, is exactly the way I picture their relationship. They may be t'hy'la, but they're still boys. You did a great job showing that without explicitly saying it.
