Socialist Alternative's sister party in Ireland just won a seat on the European Parliament, with our member and former MP Joe Higgins beating out the big business parties for the third Dublin seat.  This is a huge step forward for us and the socialist movement internationally!

Feeling much better today.  Finished one of my final papers last night, got lots of sleep, and am less sick than before.  Now only one final paper left, due Saturday at 5:00 (pushed back from Friday).  With any luck, I should get it done way earlier than that while still having time to get some shit done around the house.  The end is in sight.  ( Read more... )
