We're leaving here at 4am to go to China to get Qi. We're going from here to Detroit, then to Japan and then to Beijing. We'll be in Beijing a few days then to Nanjing where we'll get Qi. After a few days there we go to Guangzhou for a few days then we leave. We have an 8 hour layover in Japan and a 9 hour layover in hawaii on the way home. We're ( Read more... )

Okay, so we've been home with MiaoXin for a little over a month now. She's doing really well, has gained a few pounds, her hair is growing really fast and she is just as happy as can be. My dossier arrived in China yesterday. I can't believe my part is finally done. It took WAY longer than I thought, and I had problems at every turn but now its all finally out of my hands and on someone's desk in the chinese government. I've decided I'm going to try to make a 100 good wishes quilt for Mia. I would really love it if any of you would participate by just sending 2 squares of fabric and a note with a wish/saying/poem/bible verse/famous quote/anything at all on it that i can keep in her scrapbook.
