John: It's fairly simple. Donna is truly, madly, deeply in love with her husband, and has been since she was about thirteen. She adores him. She's proud of him. She wants to take care of him and let him take care of her for the rest of their lives. She thinks he's too hard on himself sometimes, and she'd like it if he talked more about things -- he's not as bad as Tommy about that, which she is glad of. She likes to show him off, and she'll never really understand how he can think he's not good enough for her, which has come up once or twice. He drives her crazy and then ruins her bad mood by kissing up.
Markham: He is Donna's pet marine. He's entertaining and silly and she's really quite fond of him. She treats him like a child because he'll play up to it and that makes her laugh, and it's just how they interact now. She doesn't mind his ridiculous antics, and in fact is quite entertained by them.
Donna thinks Ellie is wonderful. She adores her. She's a little protective, especially after the whole fear gas debacle; Donna's concerned that Ellie's sweet nature and curiosity is going to get her into trouble in the nexus, or even just in her own world. Ellie reminds Donna of herself, if she weren't such a bitch (Donna, not Ellie), which is nice. She's an interesting conversationalist.
Donna's a little concerned with how the issue with Simon/Michael is going to play out -- the only thing stopping Donna from telling Ellie herself is a) she doesn't know if she'd believe her and b) she met and befriended Dr Anders first. It's not really her business, and while Donna is a meddler by nature, she's decided it's probably better to let them handle their own affairs. Hehe, I said affairs. *twelve*
Izzy!: Donna loves Izzy. In ways that married women shouldn't love their best friends, actually, but we don't talk about that because, well, they're both involved with other people. They've been best friends for years, although Donna has always felt slightly left out by how close Izzy and John are, which is quite obviously closer than Donna and Izzy are. She ignores this feeling, mostly, because there's no point in worrying about it. Donna trusts Izzy with her life, and more importantly would trust her with her children's lives.
Jonathan: Jonathan is a mystery to Donna, which is partly why she was so attracted to him initially. He's fascinating and she spends a good deal of time just trying to figure him out. She won't really mind if she can't, but it's a way to pass the time. She doesn't understand why he loves her, and certainly doesn't understand how come their whole marriage didn't just crash and burn (as she expected it to, cynically), but she's deleriously happy with how everything's turned out. She worries about him

To sum up, she thinks Ellie is the bee's knees.
