First day of the Summer Holidays

Leisurely breakfast is bliss. No frantic 'Drink your milk, you're going to be late!' 'Where's my dinner money?' 'I can't find my English homework!'. We are not organised at all in this house but it's all okay now and things can really go to pot over the next six weeks.  Lovely

Have a great time in Devon (even if you are visiting the wrong side of the county . . .) It's raining at the moment, but the clouds are thinning!

The beach isn't my favorite either, I much prefer visiting the mountains and/or forests. Although some how we always end up going to the beach and then Disneyland (my true least favorite vacation spot in the world) for family holidays.

Oh, well. We make the best of it and hope for sun!

As far as I'm concerned you can keep the scones, but I love the beach, so I'm jealous. We may make it down to the Gower for some camping later on in the summer if the weather holds. I'm not optimistic!
