My Town

Here are a pretty nice shot of downtown Kalamazoo, the small-to-midsized town I'm from, ( Read more... )

I know 90% of what you'd find would be that crap, but I'm sure there would be some non strip photos as well...

Maybe I will go on a photo-taking adventure someday. Keep on me about it. :)

ask and ye shall receive, haha.
although I've lived my entire life in the Atlanta area, I consider a little suburb called Peachtree City my "hometown", so I'll show you that. I'm reallllly surprised only one of the pictures on the first few pages that came up was of a golf-cart parade, as Peachtree City is known around the state as "the place with the golf-carts". It was also voted No. 8 on Money Magazine's best places to live, booyah! haha sorry, just had to take a second to brag a little bit. sorry some of these are so huge, I don't know how to resize them in a comment!
this is right in front of our public library, where I used to work!

Wow, it looks like a beautiful place. I sometimes wish I lived further south...except for the increased risk of tornadoes. We get them here in MI, too, but not as much as there I think and tornadoes freak me out, even though I love watching them on TV. : /

I don't think it's that bad down here. I know we've had watches and warnings and stuff but I've never had a close encounter, I don't think.

This might be true, but at least it's a bigger city where you you have more opportunities to see certain artists in concert and other types of shows, etc... and you don't have to scrape frost off your every morning during the winter. : )

Cool. Just curious: do you get a lot of cloudy, dreary/rainy weather there? We get out share here, at least in the winter, spring and fall.
