I mentioned a while back that I began the task of transferring my CD collection over to my computer using iTunes and was planning on getting a two terabyte external hard drive with my tax return so I'd have enough space to store them all. Well, I got my tax return Saturday and got me a new external hard drive, so the music transfer is in full swing

oh, wow! that sucks about your haircut. :( i hope the second barber was able to fix it up to your liking. i never go to the hair dresser or anything. if i get split ends or something, i just tell my mom to take an inch off the bottom, lol. needless to say, my hair's really long by now.

Haha I'm envious. I can't let mine grow out very long because it's way too thick and curly, and defies any attempts at styling. : / When I was a little kid, I was obsessed with Crystal Gayle, an old singer who had really long hair. =)

yeah, my hair's pretty thick and curly too. i usually have to put it in a ponytail or braid it to get it to look half normal.

Haha so you feel my pain. I'm sorry for you. : /

I usually pay between $13 and $15 and leave a $3 to $5 tip.

Now I got to a place near me every three weeks or so. They're good. I always get exactly what I need. If I could do it myself the way they do, I'd not be spending the money.
I got an external hard drive for my photography. Totally happy with that decision! I got a 1T, but that's all I needed, and it wasn't pricey.

I'm loving it. And it didn't even occur to me before that it would be like having my whole CD collection in that handy little portable box. That's excellent, too, because it eases a fear of mine. I live in a third floor apartment and whenever there's a tornado watch or warning -- doesn't matter where I am or how safe I might be -- my mind wanders to my precious CD collection and I have this horrible thought: what if a tornado hits the apartment and destroys my CD's? Yeah, true story.

Man, I dread getting professional haircuts, because it never turns out quite the way I want it to. I'm gonna suck it up and get my hair sliced pretty short this summer, though.
If only I could look as awesome as Natalie Portman does with a buzzcut (see V for Vendetta), I'd totally go for it.

Yeah, it sucks when it doesn't come out the way you want, but my biggest problem has always been telling the barber/stylist what I want done with it...because I never knew. I just want it shorter and/or cleaner and to look decent. I never have any more details than that.
Hmmm. I'm trying to picture you with a buzzcut, and...it doesn't look quite right haha. But that's not a bad thing and hey, you never know -- maybe you'd actually look stellar with one! ; )

I agree, you need to put up a pic of your new hair!
