I mentioned a while back that I began the task of transferring my CD collection over to my computer using iTunes and was planning on getting a two terabyte external hard drive with my tax return so I'd have enough space to store them all. Well, I got my tax return Saturday and got me a new external hard drive, so the music transfer is in full swing

As I fellow itunes user I recommend checking out the plugin entitled "iconcertcal." It works as a visualize so you can turn it off or look at it whenever you wish. Basically when a song plays it will check and tell you if that artist has any upcoming CD's or concerts (within your specified mile radius) coming up.

33 days? I'm impressed- the longest anyone I know in person has is 5, and I've got three.

And pssht, hairdressers. I went to one a couple of years ago that thought that layered 'from here *marks spot on hair* to here *marks spot further down*' meant that they should trim it so that the ends were cut into a sort of semicircle, with the front at the upper height and the back at the lower one. I almost gave up hope of getting it properly layered after that. :s

I think my iTunes is 4 days and x hours to get through, but 33 days for only 25%... my god.

Haha yeah. The good news is it looks like the hard drive will be plenty big enough to hold them all and still have room for expansion. =)

cool, I have 2 500gb drives in my computer plus 2 free bays, so technically I could put 2x2tb drives in there, i also have a 500gb external drive. I was going to use these for movies but the quality just isnt that great, so I don't think ill bother now.

I have been trying to gt into more music, but I am finding that I like less and less lol. A mate loaned me a load of albums and I hardly like any of them

Bummer about the lack of success finding stuff you liked among what your friend gave you. I need to get a better idea of your taste 'cause I'm pretty good at figuring out people's listening preferences once I get a general foundation to work with.
