A Most Excellent Threat

Today at work, I opened a piece of mail with a handwritten letter inside. I read it and it ended with a threat that made me laugh out loud, saying if he doesn't get his way, then he'll take legal action... as soon as he gets out of prison. I work at a dog registration company Dogs are registered into our system so they can participate in different events and we hold -- hunts, agility tests, weight pull, dock jumping, etc -- and having registration papers also brings a higher selling price for breeders. Anyway, the threat wasn't to me personally, just to the company. He wanted his dogs marked as "stolen" in our system or else the legal action. I don't know the back story or anything - I just found the threat hilarious.

I wasn't being threatened personally, the guy just wanted the company to do something for him or else. Haha I just found the threat to take legal action... as soon as he's out of prison hilarious.

In the letter, what did the gentleman in prison want? Money?
