It's been a busy couple of weeks but things could be worse. Saw The Black Keys, Modest Mouse, and Jessy Wilson in Detroit last Saturday. I wasn't familiar with Ms. Wilson but Patrick Carney (Black Keys drummer) apparently found and championed her, and she's pretty good. Glad to see you around! I think hair metal is definitely a mood :P unfortunately Bon Jovi reminds me of my old pain in the ass pisshead neighbour. Ugh!!

Thankfully my new neighbour is a Slayer fan :)

Ha! I'll forgive you. I actually couldn't care less for Bon Jovi past the 80s and I'd probably be fine if I absolutely never heard "Living on a Prayer" again, but their 80s stuff is pretty nostalgic for me and Slippery When Wet was one of the very first pieces of music my ten-year-old self bought back in the day. On cassette. :)
