Yes, I need to talk about it. Americans, who know not what I'm talking about, feel free to skip ;)

First of all, wow! I was really impressed with YLE and all they had done - newspapers had been full of doubts about their ability to do anything right, but I liked it lots ( Read more... )

I really liked it, too! YLE did an awesome job with the stage - it was really impressive.

I thought the postcards were hilarious, but I have a fear only Finns got them - maybe they were too inside-jokeish? Or maybe the Swedes bitching about them just have sour grapes, which is really probably considering what I've read the past days... ;) Anyway, I loved them.

And thank God for the good English indeed!! *bows* Made my night that they hadn't taken lessons from Räikkönen... Mikko was so enthustiastic it was hilarious to watch :D

Me likie!

At first I thought that the stage is so small but once they got the show started it was fine.

Yeah, I think you only understood lot of references in the postcards if you know stuff about Finland, but... *shrug* Finns liked them, that's what's important, no one else will remember what they were like next week :D

Here's to hoping tomorrow will be even better!

I actually thought so too, at first, but the effects were so impressive that it stopped bugging me. I liked that bow-thingy they had hanging over it (such technical descriptions from me!)

Pretty much, yeah... I don't think they understood sauvakävely in Portugal :D It's always typical stuff like that about the hosts though, probably just seems weirder with our stuff since it's more unknown.

Yep!:D

Let me guess, the Dutch act sucked liek woah? They always do. ¬¬ It's ridiculous that we're even trying, since no one except Belgium ever votes for us anyway. (Even the newspaper says so.)

I liked last year, though. Lordi was awesome, and the Lithuanian act cracked me up, LOL.

Hmm, no, I think it was okay. Compared to some :S

I thought it's ridiculous that Finland keeps trying until last year, too! So you never know when is going to be your year.

But. But that song. IT'S URGH AND BLEH. Did you actually listen to it? :P Not that I won't be glad if it goes to the finals because, y'know. *waves small country pride flag* BUT. *cries*

You adorable dork, it DID go to the finals, the semifinals was yesterday :DD Turkey will be performing 22nd. I think the song was okay - it was quite late then and I was practically asleep, but it's catchy.

askjhfşahgşag I lose, but. I have an excuse, I wasn't watching, I was studying *expletives deleted* French instead. D:D: I'll watch the actual finals, probably. Though I'm sure I'll fall asleep before it gets to 22nd.
