Happy birthday tesjah (today) and highonmuffins (tomorrow)!

I've hit the new bottom, the OC made me cry. *blushes* wilshirist, don't think bad about me. (The second season just ended here, and I'll kill anyone who spoils me about what happens after that ( Read more... )

How many of you watch ice hockey world championships?

I haven't been watching at all. I'm not emotionally invested in our men's hockey team at all any more. So I have no idea how we are doing. It's really weird that your team so rarely wins big tournaments even though they always play well. Gaaah, sensitive topic. *hides*

Did you do something special on Mother's Day?

We don't have Mother's Day until the last Sunday in May. No plans yet. :P

That's okay, I'm already over our loss at the Olympics to you, and Finland hasn't played against Sweden yet :D

But yeah, that really pisses me off. They are really good players, but then their nerves (or something) can't take the pressure of really important games and lose. Idiots. Losers. Still I can't help being interested and watching the championships every year. I'm a masochist.

Yeah. Whenever we meet you everyone gets really nervous and some people say that no matter how good the team is, there is just something about playing against Finland. *shrugs* It's classic anyway, Finland vs. Sweden.

What? You have it at different time than other countries? Weird. And hey, you're a mother, you're not supposed to make plans, others are supposed to make them for you :D J should at least make a card to you, that's what little kids here always do.

*bites tongue to stop spilling all the goss on S3* I maintain that S1 was the best of The OC... but it will remain a guilty pleasure, despite the trashiness : )

We don't even get ice hockey over here. Actually, any sport involving snow or ice gets minimal tv coverage...

We took Mum to the Art Gallery and the World Press Photos exhibition at the State Library (so much bizarre capitalisation in that sentence). She had fun, we had fun. The Brat didn't have fun, but that's why she's The Brat. sounds like you had a pretty good day too : )

Seth/Ryan forever! They make me want to read fics about them, but I don't want to be spoiled. I'm embarrassingly in love with Seth/Summer, too. Now, don't tell me they'll break up on season 3! Don't tell me anything!

Seth/Summer is love, even if it is a het ship ; )

My lips are sealed, I promise. It's no fun when you know what's going to happen, anyway...

Thank you!

What I did on Mother's Day? Celebrated my B-day. =D

I just follow field hockey competition. Ice hockey... it's not big here. Actually... I never even heard of the Dutch ICE hockey team.

Well, the Dutch ice hockey team isn't on the world championships, so I guess they aren't that good :P I guess ice hockey isn't that popular in many countries... it's the biggest sport in Finland, though.

Did you get nice presents on your birthday?

I don't even think we have one. We're better at ice-skating itself.

YUH. I got Six Feet Under DVD's. YAY! Slashy goodness all for me. Oh, and dead people and other drama I enjoy. But also... slash. And I got money, because I don't know what to ask for.

Actually, I just found out something. Holland is in the C poule, and Finland is in the A poule. So basically, our team sucks took much to play against yours.

*covers her ears* *whacks you around the head with a paintbrush* How could you?!

I painted my mother a view on the sea with dolphins. She liked it before I finished another painting I did for my grandma (she requested something with green and purple), which she then liked more and wanted to have. My mum is evil.

It was very, very emotional episode. I'm still embarrassed about it, though.

Wow, you actually made a gift by yourself! That kind of gifts are always the best ones :)

I always make art for gifts, because I never have money to buy anything. :) It's nice. I like making art.
