Happy birthday tesjah (today) and highonmuffins (tomorrow)!

I've hit the new bottom, the OC made me cry. *blushes* wilshirist, don't think bad about me. (The second season just ended here, and I'll kill anyone who spoils me about what happens after that ( Read more... )

How many of you watch ice hockey world championships?

I haven't been watching at all. I'm not emotionally invested in our men's hockey team at all any more. So I have no idea how we are doing. It's really weird that your team so rarely wins big tournaments even though they always play well. Gaaah, sensitive topic. *hides*

Did you do something special on Mother's Day?

We don't have Mother's Day until the last Sunday in May. No plans yet. :P

That's okay, I'm already over our loss at the Olympics to you, and Finland hasn't played against Sweden yet :D

But yeah, that really pisses me off. They are really good players, but then their nerves (or something) can't take the pressure of really important games and lose. Idiots. Losers. Still I can't help being interested and watching the championships every year. I'm a masochist.

Yeah. Whenever we meet you everyone gets really nervous and some people say that no matter how good the team is, there is just something about playing against Finland. *shrugs* It's classic anyway, Finland vs. Sweden.

What? You have it at different time than other countries? Weird. And hey, you're a mother, you're not supposed to make plans, others are supposed to make them for you :D J should at least make a card to you, that's what little kids here always do.

Actually I think it varies. In some countries they have it in February. :P

Hehe, but I'm also a daughter, so I'm going to do something for my mum. J might contribute with a drawing or something. Maybe I'll by fancy chocolates and make him give them to me. ;)

Ah, okay. I just assumed that since Americans have it now, and we have it now, that everyone would have it now :P

Sounds like a good idea :D
