I saw it today as well! I really enjoyed it and loved the dark tone of the film. The only thing I really didn't like was Harry/Ginny. I found her to be extremely irritating. But yes, bahaha, I do think my favourite bit was when Harry was 'acting drunk'. Hilariousssss.
I'm tempted to re read the book because I honestly don't remember much of it at all.
♥ State of Play. Did you see the American film version? EUGH.
I personally just feel like the actress for Ginny is not cutting at all. While ginny/harry was somewhat rushed and abrupt in the books it feels even more abrupt and shoe-horned in, in the movies. So yeah I didnt care for it either but the couple itself was never a problem for me but I guess I needed more time to feel convinced by it.
I remember the most important parts of book six I think, cause I remember it also got an emotional reaction out of me much like this film did.
NO I DID NOT. the fact that a us version even EXISTS is total blasphemy to me.
OMG YAY SOMEONE ACTUALLY THINKS THE MOVIE'S AMAZING! because i do think so, too. haha. i love how you dedicated one paragraph just for snape and alan rickman, snape's life's breaking my heart too ): but you know alan rickman, he's such an amazing actor &hearts i also love the darkness in this movie, some scenes just CREEPED THE HELL OUT OF ME. like the one where katie bell got cursed or something like that ugh gave me shivers lol. and read the 7th book! i think it was a very good book overall, with adorable scenes as well (:
DUDE, snape/alan rickman deserves a whole POST not just a paragraph, but then if I made a post for him i'd have to make one for every awesome actor i like lol
( ... )
I agree about Alan Rickman, even though he is older, I can't see ANYONE else as Snape. He's so fantastic.
I actually really liked the seventh book of the series. It's the only book I've ever sat down and literally read all the way through without stopping. The epilogue was a bit meh, but otherwise I thought it was great. :)
He is really the perfect snape, and it's this role that got me into alan rickman and he became one of my fave actors cause of it and i went and searched through his filmography. He's played alot of roles but he always shines most when he plays villains.
Yeah I knew about the horrible epilogue and read all the spoilers and bought the seventh book and my sister read it and told me some of the major plot points (cause i asked her to) cause I just never got around to it and like when the book came out i was kind of just really over harry potter. but this movie reminded me why i liked the series so much in the first place so I wanna go back and read the seventh book one day. soon hopefully.

And YAY! I'm not the only one having the hots for a 60-year-old then. Oh Snape. ♥
