DUDE, snape/alan rickman deserves a whole POST not just a paragraph, but then if I made a post for him i'd have to make one for every awesome actor i like lol. The reveal that snape was in love with lily was basically the thing that just BROKE MY HEART TO PIECES for his miserable ass, because seriously his life was sad before but knowing he harbored an unrequited love so strong it made him into a nearly decent human, something the object of his affection probably NEVER knew. is just like heartbreaking beyond words. I dunno I mean it's sad to think he lived his life without a shred of happiness or love or affection. I mean putting that into perspective NO WONDER he was such a bitter unbelievable dick.
omg the katie bell curse scene was like right out of a horror film. I was SO FREAKED. I loved it! I love how this movie teetered between the beautiful, the hilarious and the downright HORRIFYING. and how poignant and beautiful it could be. Srsly this was amazing work to me, though I think people with the perspective of the books might enjoy it more than those without it.
