I made up a solution wrong. My boss called me at home before I went into work to tell me. I thought it ruined a bunch a tests and was going to set us back a whole day of work.
But it turned out that it only effected eight tests, and the solution worked anyway. So it was a big nothing.
I also found out it is pretty hard to get fired from my company. One guy left out $100,000 worth of light sensitive dye, all of which went bad and had to be thrown out. And he didn't get fired.
Work is ok. It's slow right now and getting kinda boring. I think I want to get my masters degree at some point, but I'm realizing that I'll have to move in order to do that. The only university near me that offers a masters in biochemistry is UMASS, and their website said they strongly discourage applicants from other universities. I don't want to move right now, so I'm going to put off those plans for a couple years.
Hey well good for you for knowing what you want. I support your decisions about graduate school and not moving. There is still plenty of time to go and with a little work experience behind you in the field, it may even work to a greater advantage for you.
And since you're alive, a note that was pointed out earlier this week, I think you should keep in touch more instead of [reading] crazy things in your life via lj. I miss you. :(

And were you happy or sad when you thought you were going to get fired?
