The honeymoon - or our stay at the "Lone Oak Inn"

We woke up on Sunday morning to a masterfully prepared breakfast - maple cured bacon, English muffins complete with fresh strawberry slices, home-fried potatoes, and a "sweet and spicy" omelette - which had peppers and onions sauteed in cayenne and brown sugar in it... absolutely delicious ( Read more... )

Congratulations, wish you well on your new marriage and new lives together! Vacationing at home is a nice idea - vacations are really states of mind, conscious decisions to release yourself from pressure.

Exactly! We had fun and relaxed, and it was probably more relaxing than taking a flight somewhere the day after being married :)

The bed and breakfast sounds like a great honeymoon idea! Honeymoon's don't have to be all fancy for them to be enjoyable. It's about spending time with eachother not about where you go. I hope you and Druid have many more happy days to come! *big hugs*

Thanks! It was good to just have a day at home where we designated that we could do whatever we wanted, even if it was just watching some TV and snuggling. We didn't even do the dishes until the next day :)
