I read it on the net, so it must be true? I can't decide if the pic looks photoshopped. There's something sad about baby kittens dying, though. :(

It doesn't look real to me at all. The eye could be, but the mouth and ears being hairless?

Unless that's a part of being a ragdoll breed...

Ragdolls are fairly hairy, but newborn kittens often look quite unlike cats. There are some good examples in the archives of kittenbreak

Hi Dave, Eena here.

Most new born kitten don't look a great deal like cats, and don't often have a lot of hair. The eye, of course doesn't look right; but that could be part of the deformity. New born kittens have their eyes closed, but again, since the eyed didn't form properly, there may not have been a proper eyelid to be closed.

My verdict: highly likely to be real..... Although, also just as likely to be fake.
