I'm still alive

Hey Guys!

I am still alive and around.  I read everyone's LJ, but never quite get to post in my own before I'm called away to make dinner, help with homework, fold Laundry, or do some sort of prep for the next day.  I've also been going to bed earlier than my previous bedtime of between midnight and 1 am.  I've started early morning excercise again ( Read more... )

Wow, you've got a lot going on. Good luck losing weight! A lot of folks out here in LJ-land are using www.sparkpeople.com to help track their progess.

Glad to hear you're doing well!

Ooooo! I knew Peg was there, are you there too? I'm using it to track excercise and calories. I need to explore the message boards more. My handle there is sabik79. Are you under purebloodgryff there?

bassoon? ACK! Those are expensive. I read your post about WoW. I expect my kids will discover that eventually. So far they haven't, but I'll come running to you for advice once they do. Right now they're into Runescape, and have been since summer, but it's fading a bit. That one is 6.95 per month and I make them earn the monthly fee. Good luck with the WoW. I know the feeling of being a mother to a gamer and trying to limit his game time. We had an hour on weekdays / 2 hours on weekends ... what a bunch of whining and negotiating and hang on I'm almost done and pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease ....just another hour...... Ack! We should create a new community ... MOGs (mothers of gamers).

... so now I have all the knowledge and none of the responsibility!

That *is* always the best place to be. :))

:::waves::: It really is an interesting place. I'm the person everyone come to for advice, but I don't have to report to the boss. Weeeeeeee .... How's your job going? ... of course last I remember was before TWH ...I'm so far behind ...

Hee. Yes, sounds good!

I'm currently figuring out if I want to do something else, or go back to school, and how to make either of those happen, so I'm working as an editor, except in a very boring field. I, however, also don't have to be the boss, which I kinda enjoy. :D

Also, I love your icon.

HEY!!! *big hugs* Good luck with the Wii hunt, we ended up needing two which necessitated many hours in lines and a few hundred phone calls a day for a couple of weeks. But we did it! Persevere!

:::bows before the ubermommysanta!:::: I've been about 3 hours late everytime I've come close to a Wiiiiiiiiii. I've heard they were in Toys R Us this morning, but we were at Disney and not close to our local store. I'm hoping wal, mart has them this week. If not I'm probably SOL for Christmas day. Luckily its for the 13 yo and he's not under the Santa spell anymore so we could give him a raincheck for whenever it's available. He understands that they are hard to come by, so that might have to do, and he'll be excited he doesn't have to spend his own cash for it. :)

Hope christmas preps going good for you.

I'm glad things are going well! I hope Disney was lots of fun for you all. Best of luck on the Wii hunt. (I have to keep insisting that my husband and I wait for our birthdays, as car troubles are more urgent.)

You'll probably be able to get one more easily after christmas. I wanted to wait for my oldest's birthday in August, but when it's the only thing on the Christmas list.... I hope I can find one this week ...

Disney was magical. It's great this time of year because you can escape from reality and have a good time all together. It's time like thses I really like just hanging out with my kids. SO often it's doing for them, rather than just enjoying being with them.
