I had Arthur - one of my cats for those who don't know him yet - operated today (just the common "you won't be able to have babies with the whole neighborhood" operation) . Before he went to the vet, the little $^ù%#& realised something strange was happening so he just fought me with all his might and I ended up with two fingers thoroughly

But if you say it's good to watch, then i will go! It's still playing here in some cinemas... i may even drag the hubby to take in this one...
As for Matchpoint, which is finally here, i hope to see that this weekend on my gals' nite out!!
Beautiful wall btw... loved all the colors! saved it! :D

I was a bit "afraid" about CF too, and although I really think he was bad compared to the other actors, he didn't prevent me from enjoying the film, which would just have been even better and lively with someone else playing the main role (it's a shame Christian appears only for the last part !! ;D). I remember now seeing CF in Minority Report and this kind of "stoicism" he seems to be showing constantly worked in MR but not in TNW.
Enjoy Match Point and tell us what you think about it. I know you're gonna love it. JRM is just droolable in this one ;) And thanks about the wall ;D

*sigh* i still don't know if they gonna show the movie here... it's quite strange cuz it seems that the whole city is just a big Farrell fan club (well, the whole city except me...)
so i'm still waiting(((

I'm crossing my fingers for you, I know how it feels : Laurel Canyon was never released here, it went directly to DVD and it's just not the same *crossing fingers again*
A big Farrell fan club ? I'm sure it's the so-called "bad boy" reputation. You have to show them how wrong it is !! and which guy is really admirable ;D

thank you... i've just looked through release-list for the next three years and there's not even a word about the movie. If i find the guys who wrote and planned it i should have my favourite knife with me))))
oh yes... my dad was reading some magazine today and said something like "there's a lot of bad boys around, they just chose one to think he's talented". how cute ^_^
and sure, i have to ;)

Bad boys are like girls with big boobs, they can impress people for a while but it doesn't mean they have talent ;)

I cannot express how HOT CB looks with long hair and a beard. I was so conflicted watching him as Jesus. And the period clothing is divine.

What I DO see is CB total hotness. And come on ! you enjoyed it all the more because he played Jesus, you twisted Catholic girl ;D You and me are too much alike on this to hide, so remember Marie-Madeleine (how do you call her in English ?) and go with it ! *fans self remembering some hot S&P sex scenes in a church*
And yeah about period clothing ! ;)

and as for Match Point (i saw you and rose talking about it) i loved that movie!! even my husband liked it, and he hates British movies, and he hates Woody Allen movies, but that movie was totally awesome. What an amazing twist at the end, eh?
hope you're having a good day!!!

Oh yes, I loved Match Point to no end ! Great twist, that I appreciated even more on second viewing ;D I'm told it's not a usual Woody Allen movie, but how can someone "hate" British movies ? o_O They've done so many incredible films ! What kind of movie does he enjoy ?
New day here, sorry I didn't reply yesterday. I went to see another movie (a French one this time ;)) and just fell asleep quickly after that. Hope you'll have a great day too, and a good night first ;D

My hubby is so into cars, gangsters, war and stuff like that. He thinks British movies are silly, unless there's war in them. oh well...he doesn't know what he's missing. and you're right, that was totally not anything like a Woody Allen film, which may account for the reason it was actually good. ;p
i hope you have a weekend filled with fun, darling! i'll let you know if I get a chance to go see TNW. okay?
au revoir!

*sobbing* No Stay before July, I'm inconsolable *cries some more*
Your hubby's taste for movies reminds me of my parents and I when I was young enough to go to the movies with them. It was always a fight to decide, particularly between my father and I ! I have seen some really good films thanks to him (Star Wars and Excalibur come to mind, I didn't want to see them because I thought I'd be afraid but I loved them to pieces) but I've also suffered through terrible ones (think James Bond !) ;)

So I have at least one CF fan on my flist ;) I hope for you that you'll find him far better and interesting than me in TNW. I was reading through an article about the Miami Vice movie not long ago, and they were not very kind with CF once again.
The only other people I know here who's seen TNW didn't like it at all, I guess you have to let the magic of the movie act on you to really appreciate it. But I've read as many good reviews as bad ones. And even the very bad ones said that Q'Orianka and Christian were very good ;)

Christian is in TNW only for the last part, say for half an hour maybe. It's hard to say because I thought the movie passed so much quicker when he was on screen ;) You never see him before he appears suddenly, not even in passing. On the contrary, Colin appears again near the end for a short while. Christian's part may be short, but it's a powerful one and his character is just lovely, the man a lot of women would dream of ;)
I did feel uncomfortable during the John Smith/Pocahontas romantic scenes, and not at all during the John Rolfe/Pocahontas ones, so there's hope for you if you find that CF plays better than I thought :D
