At least Hanamura had told him that the "shelter" Shika had told him about was a Porn Shop. Otherwise Shinjiro would have just cursed, assumed he'd been lied to, and found an alley to hunker down in for the night. Hell, when he had stopped in front of it, he had the brief moment of wondering is Hanamura was a lying son of a bitch too. Maybe he was just too cynical and suspicious, but getting a "new guy" to go to a place like this thinking it was a safe place seemed like the kind of way some stupid fucks would get their kicks ( ... )

"Ah." It was a soft sound that came out first, automatically pushing off of the wall just a bit. Not at the sound of his own name, but actually seeing Shinjiro, again. His gaze drifted off to the side as he leaned back against his safety net. Shaking his head, he narrowed his eyes at something unseen -- perhaps, his own cowardice about everything? -- before he completely pushed himself away from the wall ( ... )

He glanced up as the man spoke, head tilting slightly. The guy didn't really stand out to him- Spiky-ish brown hair, Japanese... but otherwise Shinjiro wouldn't have given him a second glance on the street. It was.. almost a little disappointing, but he'd write it off. It wasn't as though he had recognized the guy's name or anything about him ( ... )

Easier said than done. Yosuke wasn't sure if it was possible to not worry about Shinjiro. His hands came up to rub his face, the heels of his hands pressed against his eyes. Nice that they were in a building where other people were, even if he was leading to a relatively more secluded area. It meant that he couldn't -- that he shouldn't -- have any sort of overly emotional response. Staring up at the ceiling, he just thought that it'd be just too embarrassing and telling. Another brush of his hand against his face before he allowed himself to smile once more ( ... )
