Summary: Haruhi is long overdue for a Commoner's Adventure and Tour of the City. She has been spending too many hours cooped up in an office! If she isn't careful, she'll turn out like Mr. Edgeworth--and Mr. Edgeworth

Today in particular had been quite a busy day at the office. She'd barely taken a break for lunch in fact, and was feeling quite hungry now that it was the end of the day. Mr. Edgeworth hadn't been lying when he said that his coworkers liked to talk and talk about absolutely nothing. They were absolutely annoying, but she could deal with it, especially since she was really learning here with her internship with Mr. Edgeworth

There she was, there she was! Tamaki's heart skipped slightly in his excitement and he surged forward, waving his arms over his head. She hadn't seemed to notice him--ah, but that was to expected after a day of earnest work! She was probably concentrating too hard on the events of the day, so he'd have to get her attention! But that was a challenge that he was prepared to face!

He took a deep, deep breath, filling his lungs with air--all the better to shout with! "HARUHI! HA-RU-HI!" He waved his arms frantically, jumping up and down--she was still walking! Ah, well--he started to jog, keeping even with her but not daring to cross the street just yet. After all, he didn't want to get too close to the office; she'd strictly forbade him from doing so.

"Haruhi! Haruhi, I've been waiting for you! I have a trip planned for us! Are you hungry? Are you thirsty? Are you cold? Ah, you have a jacket--well, that's good! Because we're going on a Commoner Adventure!" He beamed at her. She'd be excited; of course she would. Who wouldn't be

Haruhi wouldn't be exicited. That's who. She was tired and drained and just wanted to lay down on the bed Tamaki had insisted she sleep on. Make something easy for dinner, do the dishes and go to sleep. There was no 'adventure' listed in Haruhi's daily itinerary. There was only work, chores, studying and sleep.

She tried to ignore him, but ignoring Tamaki was as hard as pretending the sky wasn't blue. A sigh and eventually she stopped walking, not saying anything as she glowered at the pavement. She was hungry, she was a bit cold and the last thing she wanted to do was go on an adventure.

"I'm not going."

Of course, he probably couldn't hear her, considering he was still at the opposite end of the street.
