Oh yeah, I'll tell you something, I think you'll understand:

May 13, 2010 21:24

Who: daddydaioh & his modestmusume
When: Thursday at around 5 pm
Where: THE TOUR DE COMMONER PATHWAY by which I mean everywhere and anywhere in the city
Summary: Haruhi is long overdue for a Commoner's Adventure and Tour of the City. She has been spending too many hours cooped up in an office! If she isn't careful, she'll turn out like Mr. Edgeworth--and Mr. Edgeworth is NOT a Good Daughter! Steps must be taken! Minds must be changed! Legs must be stretched, eyes must be used to observe the Canadian Commoner Way, arms must be used to dramatically point out things, and money must be spent to ensure that this beloved daughter has the time of her life!
Warnings: BDSM, noncon--AHAHA FOOLED YOU. Just caps lock abuse, sparkles, theatrics, cowering in corners, and a lot of 8| <-- this face from Haruhi

Haruhi had been in the city for seventeen days! Seventeen beautiful wonderful perfect days!

Oh, yes, Tamaki was concerned for her safety. He was more concerned than he let on, of course--there was no sense in scaring her, and there was no use in screaming or setting traps (he had tried traps, and only succeeded in trapping himself, which was an incident better left undiscussed) or personally escorting her from place to place. No, those things really weren't in Tamaki's mind as Viable Options for Daughter Protection (except maybe the last one; he'd have to see if he could fit it into his schedule). Tamaki would have hired a bodyguard if he could afford it--well, perhaps someday! For now, he had to just worry every once and awhile and trust to fate that she would be kept safe.

That wasn't the most comforting of thoughts, but Tamaki generally cheered himself up by remembering his extreme good luck. Probably that good luck extended to his dear daughter as well, like a blanket. Yes, that would work.

But, still! Seventeen days was a very long time! And she'd secured a job in so short a time--with Mr. Edgeworth, no less!--and was doing very well, and made them dinner at night, and cleaned the house, and--

Tamaki was so preoccupied with the splendor and wonder that was his daughter that he almost tripped over his own feet as he walked. He recovered gracefully, tossing his hair, and returned immediately to his thoughts. Today was the DAY. Haruhi didn't want him in the office--well, that was okay! The office was boring anyways, and while he loved the idea of observing Haruhi at work, and seeing her run around carrying files, and oh, then he could see Mr. Edgeworth too, and--

Ah, but he was getting off track! Haruhi had forbid him to go into the office--but she had allowed him to wait outside! And that was exactly what he was here to do!

There was a bench across the street from the government building, shaded by a large tree. Tamaki sat there, tapping his foot, his eyes fixed hawk-like on the door. As soon as he saw Haruhi, he would wave to her. She couldn't miss him and start heading home--after all, this was a surprise! She didn't know he was here! If she walked home, he would be waiting here all night for her, and she would be so worried when she got home and he wasn't there! Probably she would organize a search party, with dogs and shouting people pointing at things that looked like Tamaki but weren't--she might offer a reward, and make MISSING posters--well, as long as she used a decent photo of him for representation, that would be okay; then again, was there a photo of him out there that wasn't handsome and engaging and striking? No, the posters would be all right, and would make great souvenirs, and--

He sat up with a start, realizing that he'd been lost in his own world for a few minutes. Had she come outside already? Had he missed her? He jumped to his feet, scanning the sidewalk.

suou tamaki, haruhi fujioka
