Summary: Ringing in the New Year at the Bachelor Chalet.

Blaine was being careful about drinking, considering how disastrous the last few times he had gotten drunk had been. When the bunny made a noise he sat up and looked over at Kurt.

He had been worried about the rabbit since the Darkness had gotten into the apartment, but the pet had seemed okay so far. Kurt seemed to have a handle on it though.

So instead, "Do you think we should karaoke or watch until midnight hits?" he asked everyone in the room.

Taking the drink from Kurt and having a small sip of it, Rachel wrinkled her nose a little. She was pretty sure that the first time that she'd had a lot to drink had been a lot better, if only because it was before the taste of it reminded her of how easy it was to get out of hand and then having people vomit all over you. Fortunately, though, she was sure that something like that wasn't going to happen here. They were much more mature now than they had been then and that was definitely thanks in part to being here in this place. Things seemed to happen here that Rachel couldn't explain (and didn't want to, really) that just didn't make a whole lot of sense. She understood a little bit better now that she had to make sure to grow up at least a little bit more, in order to keep herself (and maybe her friends, too) safe.

With that thought out of the way, Rachel took another small sip of her drink and offered her roommate's a smile. "Karaoke sounds like a great idea! But... there's not really anyone to listen to us aside from

"That's all right," said Kurt with a small smile. "We're just singing for fun, aren't we?" He stood and began searching through his record collection, with Tchaikovsky perched on his shoulder. He wasn't quite drunk enough to start busting out, but he was sure Blaine or Rachel would break the ice.

"How about a little Gaga to ring in the new year?"

"I do like it when you sing Gaga..." Blaine said before he could stop himself. Gaga makes Kurt relax and do amazing things with his hands and face.
