[They are, in fact, already here, and leaning over the partition rail that divides the cocktail bar from the lower dining room, overlooking the long, curved wall of glass that's sunken into the bay. From the back they're a nearly picture-perfect pair, leaning shoulder to shoulder and chatting in casual intimate way, blonde and dark heads bowed close.

The young doctor is a bit bulkier-shaped, because he still hasn't yet surrendered his winter layers to the coatroom off the main door, still warming from the cold.

He's pointing out the sea otters on the rocks outside, eyes delighted like a child's. Live wild animals are still a novel notion to Daedalus Yumeno, who has never seen so much before. The way this particular, clever species rollicks about the rocks with shellfish? Captivating.]

Well if they aren't, we can always just enjoy the scenery.

[Kurt is positively giddy. He and Blaine haven't been out like this in ages, and he felt confident enough that Rachel would look after the apartment and Tchaikovsky that he could relax. Dressed in violet and red with high leather boots and his long wool coat, he clutches happily at Blaine's arm as they spot their friends and approach them.]

[Franz is also still wearing his jacket - the red peacoat he bought last winter, so many good memories - and a simple charcoal gray vest with matched pants and a dove gray shirt beneath. He has a few buttons undone, his jacket is open and swinging. He quaffs the last bit of his martini before grinning his greeting to Kurt and Blaine, arms open for hugs and totally ready for some fancy air-kisses.]

Bonsoir! Do you like his sweater? I picked it out!

[Blaine is more than happy to hug Franz and moves to offer an affectionate greeting to Daedalus too.]

It looks great. [He says about the sweater, meaning it and knowing that Kurt will probably have a more detailed opinion]

[Daedalus has a pre-dinner cocktail too, but his has been set down on a tall table beside the railing, nearly untouched for now. He's careful about his tolerance.

When the first thing Franz does is point out his sweater, he does feel sheepishly obliged to turn and open his coat, showing a double-buttoned cardigan only briefly. His gaze dallies away to the upper corners of the room, a little flustered to be making an ordeal of what-to-wear.

But this is Kurt and Franz, in a room together. He should have known what he was signing up for.]

Thanks...and no, not at all, we just got here. They're running a little slow with reservations, anyway.

[He doesn't greet in the European fashion, or even like the pair of American boys, with broad hugs. When Blaine open arms to him first, Daedalus seems...slightly anxious about moving in for a warmer hello than the usual doctor/patient contact. Moreso still when moving on to Kurt. There's still the part of him that's lingering with guilt, over the events of October.]
