[Blaine still feels worn out, tired down to his bones. It feels like he just can't get enough sleep. He can put all of this aside though, if it means dressing up with Kurt and going out to a nice meal with Franz and Daedalus.
Some where it gets mentioned that The Grey Line is Daedalus' favorite restaurant so they end up going there. The last time that Kurt and Blaine went to a fancy restaurant for a date, Kurt had been dealing with everything Yaha had put him through so this time Blaine is determined to not let his exhaustion ruin the evening. He wants to just feel normal for a night with Kurt there at his side. He wants good food with good friends.
He looks good, put together in a way that doesn't even hint to how drained and frayed he feels. His hair is perfect, his clothes are perfect. He smiles and manages to feel honestly happy when he looks over at Kurt and sees this amazing, beautiful person who loves him and wants to be with him.
He opens the restaurant's door for Kurt and then holds out his arm for his boyfriend as they both enter.]
