Who: Blaine (mediumdrip), Rachel (starsaremything) and later on, Kurt (showbizpanache).
When: 4 December; Day
Where: The mall and then back to the apartment
Summary: Blaine and Rachel are shopping for Kurt's Christmas present and then they're all going to decorate the apartment.
Warnings: None.

Blaine found it so easy to spend time with Rachel. She had been the one girl who had really made him question his sexuality but that just meant that he felt like things 'clicked' with her. She could be pretty intense at times, but he found that he liked that about her. She was so driven and talented and he found that impressive and inspiring.

"Nothing seems good enough," he admitted after thinking over her question. "It might help to have your input."

He gave her a smile and then thought of something else he wanted to add. "Oh," he said. "Did you want to pick up a menorah too? Hanukkah is the 20th this year, Kurt and I would love to help you celebrate it."

There was, of course, a moment of pride for Rachel as she walked beside Blaine. He'd chosen her to help him find a gift for Kurt which had to mean that he trusted her and knew that her opinion was probably the most important in a situation like this-- who else could help pick out a gift for someone with as much talent as the world could ever want, and the attitude to go with it than someone who shared those same gifts ( ... )

Blaine's eyes narrowed a bit with confusion before he had to remind himself, yet again, that she wasn't from the same time as he was. That she and Finn hadn't gotten back together yet. He wanted to tell her everything would turn out okay, especially as she paused in her retelling of her first Christmas and had to shake her head to get a hold of herself, but it seemed like one of those important things she needed to be able to do on her own ( ... )

Tilting her head towards him, Rachel raised an eyebrow in Blaine's direction. "Really? You think that there might be other people here who are Jewish? I mostly assume that a lot of the people here were..." she shrugged a little, before turning back to him, "I figured they were mostly crazy. I hear them talking all of the time when I turn on this video phone... they really do talk about some of the craziest things. It would be nice, though, I guess, if there were more people to celebrate Hanukkah. More gifts, too! But... you don't think that means I have to buy gifts, do you? I haven't figured out how I'm going to make money yet."

Glancing in the direction of the next shop they were walking past, Rachel tugged at Blaine's arm. "Let's try here first! I'm sure that getting extra gifts will make Kurt happy, too. Obviously you're made for each other."
