When: Saturday 12th of November!
Where: SOME BURGER PLACE.
Summary: Franziska and Maya meet up for lunch to celebrate Maya's recovery! Unfortunately, things do not stay that simple for very long... (Thanks, Dad.)
Warnings: action tags & parental abandonment issues. will update this if there's anything that needs noting!

[While Franziska was in a good, oddly enough Maya wasn't. She wasn't the type to dwell on things, but yet another disappearance (Mia, this time. Right on the heels of Snake.) was affecting her more than she was ever ready to admit. It was selfish of her to want Mia to stay around and disrupt her peace, but she--]

[She was as perky as ever, though, as she strolled out to meet Franziska (one minute late!) She was determined to be in a good mood (and seeing Franziska always lifted her spirits, nowadays. There was a time where she'd fear whipping more than anything, but other their time in Siren's Port together... Well. Franziska had come a long way, and she'd proven time and time again to be a good friend.) and not let the other woman even notice she was down. Hopefully.]

[The ex-prosecutor was hard to miss, though, and she grinned as she waved] Hey!

[As soon as the familiar face is in her line of sight, Franziska attempts a discreet look at her watch. Only a minute late; hardly anything at all. She lifts the hand that doesn't have her whip comfortably coiled in it to return Maya's greeting.]

Good afternoon, Maya Fey. [And then, but only because she can't resist, she adds:] I was starting to wonder if I had come to the wrong place after all. [Yet, there's a smile on her face, and the statement's clearly teasing.

... Although she is secretly wondering how here can be one of Maya's favorite places to eat. However, that's not the point. This isn't about her; it's about Maya.]

Are you ready for your celebratory meal?

[Well, Maya isn't surprised to see the whip. The teasing is something she's still getting used to, but she doesn't mind at all. After all, that was her bread and butter] I just wanted to keep you in suspense so my appearance would be even more awesome!

[She grins at Franziska despite herself. So far so good. She can do this]

[She lifts the hand with her briefcase to her stomach and presses it against her vest, as though consulting with her body.] I suppose I could be persuaded -- but don't forget, this is supposed to be about you.

[With a dramatic sweeping motion, Franziska points at the door. Surely, if someone had been exiting the establishment, they would have been winded by her briefcase, but that's really not a concern of Franziska's.]
